Principal's Message

Dear Lincoln Families,

My name is Mark Asher and I am fortunate to be the principal of Lincoln. I have served most of my 20 years in education in the neighboring Pleasant Valley School District in Camarillo as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal and principal. I have enjoyed my last 9 years as an elementary school principal and I look forward to continuing my career as a Lincoln Dragon! 

Educationally, I earned a Bachelors Degree in History at UCSB (Go Gauchos!). I earned a Masters Degree in School Counseling from California Lutheran University. Additionally, I possess a Single Subject Teaching Credential, Pupil Personnel Services Credential, and an Administrative Services Credential. I have treasured my own educational journey, and I hope to share my love for learning with our students and families at Lincoln.

I live in Ventura with my wife, Danielle, and my three daughters--Ella (16), Emery (14) and Evryn (9).

I am thoroughly excited to work with all of your children, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve the wonderful Lincoln community.
